Defences against the Council’s application for a liability order

There is not a current entry for the property in the Council Tax Valuation List.
The bill and reminder/final notice have not been posted to the correct address according to the Council’s records.
You have paid the council tax and costs in full.

Please use this form to resolve any outstanding issues before the court hearing date.

If you want to challenge the Council’s application for a liability order, please complete this form to confirm your defence and upload evidence.

The Court expects you to contact the Council in advance of the hearing to sort out any issues. Appearances are by videolink and the Court requires a timeslot to be booked with the Council.
